Jordan Brand hosted its 17th annual Jordan Brand Classic at Barclays Center on April 8, 2018. The double-header featured All-American Boys and Girls, showcasing the greatest high school seniors in the game today.
The fourth annual National Girls Game was a fierce competition to the very end and was decided by just one point. Emily Engstler (Syracuse) had 9 points and 4 rebounds in the Home team’s 89-88 victory. Shakira Austin (Maryland) of the Away team was named Co-MVP with a double-double (18 points, 14 rebounds).
The Jordan Brand Classic National Boys Game was packed with highlight-reel moments, but no one outshined Emmitt Williams. Williams scored a JBC record 44 points, surpassing the record of 34 points held by Lebron James. The Home team took the W, 146-136, while Williams (Louisiana State) and Nassir Little (North Carolina) received Co-MVP honors.
Jordan Brand family members Ray Allen and Tim Hardaway Jr., as well as New Jersey Nets D’Angelo Russell and Rondae Hollis-Jefferson, made special appearances and attended the game.
